Dataiku combines visual interfaces with code-based environments across the data workflow. Data arrives from sources such as databases, cloud storage and APIs, and it is cleaned and transformed with drag-and-drop visual recipes or with code. Cleaning, transformation and enrichment can be automated to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling. Models are then built with automated machine learning or custom code in Python, R or SQL, deployed into production workflows and monitored over time.

Visual tools let beginners perform data preparation and basic modeling without coding, although advanced features come with a steeper learning curve. Collaboration covers project sharing, version control and role-based access, and dashboards and reports share insights with stakeholders. The platform is aimed at data scientists, data analysts and machine learning engineers, as well as business intelligence teams.

Models can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or at the edge, with integrations for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. An on-premises deployment requires infrastructure setup. A Free Edition covers core features for individual users and small teams with limited data volume, while the Enterprise Edition adds advanced security, scalability and support for large organizations at custom pricing.
