Commercial formats that may appear on TiorAI

- Featured placements within a category or collection
- Paid partnerships with tool owners or companies

- Affiliate links, where a vendor pays a commission on a signup or purchase
- Referral partnerships
- Promotional campaigns run with a vendor for a fixed period
Not all of these are in use at any given time. Treat the list as the set of formats permitted under this policy rather than as a statement of current inventory.
How paid placements are identified
When a placement is sponsored, paid for or part of a partnership, it should be identifiable as such on the page where it appears - close to the placement itself, not buried in a page like this one.
The principle is simple: a reader should be able to tell, without hunting, whether what they are looking at was paid for.
Affiliate links
If TiorAI uses affiliate links, following one and then signing up or purchasing may earn TiorAI a commission. Where that applies, it is at no additional cost to you - an affiliate link does not raise the price you pay, and it does not change the plan you get.
An affiliate relationship is a reason to disclose a link, not a reason to recommend a product. Plenty of tools we rank well have no commercial relationship with us at all, and some that do are not recommended.
What a commercial relationship does not buy
A commercial relationship does not automatically guarantee positive coverage, a higher organic ranking, a better comparison verdict, or exemption from correction. Paying to appear somewhere is not the same as paying for what we say.
Nor does it buy immunity from removal: a sponsored product that shuts down, misrepresents itself or breaks the rules for inclusion is treated like any other listing. How editorial decisions are actually made is set out in our Editorial Policy.
Telling paid from organic
Organic rankings and editorial recommendations should remain distinguishable from paid placements. Where the two appear on the same page, the paid one carries the label and the organic one does not.
If you ever find a placement on this site that you believe is paid but is not labelled, tell us. That is a defect, and we would rather hear about it than not.
Monetisation may change
TiorAI may add, remove or change monetisation methods over time. When that happens, this page is updated, and the "Last updated" date above changes with it.
